JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Associate repairs and maintains the facility, equipment, performs both reactive and preventative maintenance, and performs minor improvements to equipment and the facility. This position supports all production and supports staff and management in maintenance duties as requested.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all production and facility equipment and systems.
Systems include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems.
Monitors to ensure all utilities and production equipment are running properly and efficiently through assigning, tracking, and performing preventative maintenance.
Perform welding and machining tasks.
Perform PLC troubleshooting.
Assist engineering with projects.
Responds promptly to calls for production and utility equipment malfunctions and ground maintenance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree, Journeyman, or related coursework and/or experience preferred.
One (1) to Three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Maintenance Associate job requires many physical demands such as: walking, sitting, climbing, lifting, twisting, bending. reaching, and lifting up to 50lbs. There is the possibility of maneuvering doors and heavy equipment with limited movement in some work areas. Ability to stand 8-12 hours.
The Maintenance Associate's work environment includes normal factory conditions with climate control. This Associate is required to work in the production areas of the plant. There is minimal noise and vibration levels. There is the possibility of exposure to different types of chemicals (refer to SDS in the area), moving objects, moving mechanical parts, sharp tools, and minimal lifting.

Shift Options:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack recycling materials.
Supply production lines with necessary materials to maintain workflow.
Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
Maintain an organized warehouse floor and ensure materials are labeled correctly.
Adhere to all facility safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and the ability to work the full duration of the 2nd shift
Physical Ability: Must be able to sit, stand, and lift as required by the role.
Safety Mindset: Ability to navigate a busy facility safely around pedestrians and other machinery.

This is a 1st shift position with the starting pay at $17 but can vary on experience. You can get a $1 pay increase every 30 days for your first 90 days with good attendance.
Description:
You will be traveling to various sites and commercially painting new gas station builds. You will be painting and coating large-scale interior/exterior surfaces for various businesses.
You will be assigned other tasks such as cleaning up, helping to remove various structures, and other tasks as assigned.
