Sort materials and place them in designated areas according to yard procedures. Ensure torch cutters are supplied with appropriate material as needed. Inspect all loads according to yard standards, ensuring railcars and semi-trailers are safe to leave the yard. Follow lockout/tagout procedures when working on or around the crane, in accordance with company policy. Operate the crane safely and responsibly at all times. Notify the maintenance department of any mechanical or maintenance needs related to the crane. Perform pre-shift and post-shift crane inspections and routine maintenance checks. Move scrap material through the yard in a safe and controlled manner. Wear required and approved personal protective equipment at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.
