Schedule:
Full-Time
Second Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Weekend and overtime hours as directed by Operations Manager

Position Summary:
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the efficient and thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all plant production areas, machinery, and equipment. This role ensures compliance with cleanliness standards and contributes to a safe, organized production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all production equipment, conveyors, and floors
Empty trash containers throughout the facility
Notify supervisor of equipment maintenance or repairs needed
Participate in pre-operational inspections and duties as required
Complete all required training (chemical handling, lockout/tagout, pallet jack use)
Maintain strict personal hygiene and follow sanitation procedures
Use time efficiently and maintain focus on job duties
Uphold a positive attitude and cooperative teamwork
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and product quality
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with sanitation tools, equipment, and cleaning procedures

This is a first shift position with you being able to work weekends. The pay will depend on experience.
This position includes cutting meat and preparing it for the service case. You will be responsible for cutting, trimming and packaging meat according to company standards.
Requirements
Adhere to all federal, state, local regulations as they apply to the meat area.
Receive, process, cut, trim, scrape, package, tie, wrap, weigh, price and label meat and meat products according to company standards.
Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
Maintain proper sanitary conditions, to include: cleaning and sanitizing of all work surfaces, utensils and equipment.
Operate saws, knifes, grinders, cuber, wrappers and other equipment as needed.
