Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, safety-minded Material Handler to join our team in Urbana, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, tracking, and preparing raw materials and finished products for production and shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience, intermediate computer skills for inventory tracking, and a firm commitment to maintaining strict ISO quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Safely operate a variety of material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
• Inventory Verification: Accurately count, weigh, or measure incoming and outgoing items to verify exact quantities against shipping manifests.
• Shipping & Receiving Prep: Examine incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies, prepare materials securely for outbound transit, and complete all required logistical documentation.
• Inventory Control: Execute accurate inventory cycle counts, monitor stock controls, and identify ways to streamline warehouse storage processes.
• Compliance: Perform all tasks in accordance with established ISO requirements, safety guidelines, and company quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of one year of shipping/receiving experience, or an equivalent combination of warehouse and material handling roles.
• Equipment Proficiency: Proven experience operating a forklift and other industrial material handling equipment.
• Technical Skills: Functional knowledge of automated or computerized inventory systems for scanning and data entry.
• Workplace Traits: Strong ability to analyze processes, follow written instructions, and foster a cooperative, team-oriented work environment.
