Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Mill Room Operator to join our 1st-shift manufacturing team in Urbana, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing material processing equipment, managing batch weighing systems, and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, possesses a strong work ethic, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely set up, monitor, and operate specialized mill room machinery, including ball mills and spray-dry towers.
• Batch Weighing: Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to strict batch formulas and process specifications.
• Quality & Process Control: Monitor material consistency and production parameters to ensure all outputs meet strict industrial quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team environment, maintaining excellent interpersonal communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Workplace Maintenance: Keep the mill room, machinery, and material handling areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience: Proven experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Preferred Technical Background: Hands-on experience with ball mills, spray-dry towers, and batch weighing systems is highly desirable.
• Core Traits: Exceptional dependability, a strong work ethic, and the self-motivation to manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
