Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to manage the daily upkeep, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and grounds. You will handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and cosmetic repairs to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. 

Core Responsibilities

• Routine Upkeep: Perform minor repairs on facility systems, including fixing leaky faucets, clearing clogged drains, and replacing broken light fixtures, switches, or outlets. 
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect buildings, machinery, and equipment regularly to identify potential problems and service components like HVAC filters.
• Cosmetic Repairs: Patch drywall, repair plaster, fix windows, and touch up interior or exterior paint as surfaces fade or chip.
• Groundskeeping: Maintain walkways and external areas, which may include light landscaping, clearing debris, and basic janitorial duties.  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience using common hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, wrenches, hammers).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry concepts.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and comfortably climb ladders or work in tight spaces.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to figure out the root cause of an equipment malfunction.
