Custom Staffing has partnered with a local Manufacturing Company to add a Quality Assurance Associate to their team in Bluffton, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. 

Custom Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay and medical insurance.

Position: Quality Assurance Associate
Hours: 11:50pm - 7:10am
Pay Rate: $18.00 + $1 Shift Diff

Key Responsibilities
  • Good Attendance
  • Open to a flexible work schedule. Must support manufacturing weekend production
  • Open & cooperative with a constantly changing environment
  • Able to complete testing and provide information with accuracy and reliability
  • Comfortable making precise measurements and recording accurate data
  • Must be able to perform physical demands necessary to complete all QA testing, which includes walking to all processes for parts pick-up, lifting all parts and test fixtures, performing several cut checks with scissors and knives, performing torque tests, and various pushing and pulling requirements, and be able to use a band saw and chop saw for cut checks
  • Availability to use a computer
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to access all processes for parts and pick-up. The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors in a moderately noisy environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The associate must lift and/or move all parts up to 40 pounds. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull and reach.



Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Schedule: Must be flexible to support manufacturing weekend production.
  • Experience: One or more years of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Testing: Pass all Power Industrial Testing
  • Team Environment: demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Safety First: A strong personal commitment to industrial safety standards and protocols.
Documentation: Capable of reading, understanding, and properly completing required plant paperwork
