Custom Staffing has partnered with a local Manufacturing Company to add a Shipping/Receiving Associate to their team in Bluffton, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Custom Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay and medical insurance.
Position: Shipping/Receiving Associate
Hours: 10:50pm - 7:10am
Pay Rate: $18.00 + $1 Shift Diff
Key Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to access all processes for parts and pick-up. The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors in a moderately noisy environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The associate must lift and/or move all parts up to 40 pounds. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull and reach. The associate will wear a safety harness if lifted into the air.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate all types of powered industrial trucks (forklift, reach truck, tug and order picker)
- Receive materials, load trucks and prepare shippers
- Confirm receipts and prepare discrepancy report, if necessary
- Basic computer skills as you will be entering information into the system
- Pick orders, scan shipments, print labels
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Work Schedule: Must be flexible to support manufacturing weekend production.
- Experience: One or more years of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Testing: Pass all Power Industrial Testing
- Team Environment: demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Communication: Good written and verbal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
