Production Team Leader

Custom Staffing has partnered with a local Manufacturing Company to add Production Lead to their team in Bluffton, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Pay Rate: $27.38

Job Description
The Team Leader reports to the Production Supervisor. You will be responsible for directing the team members in the production processes. Promote associate relations and satisfactorily resolve associate issues and concerns. Maintain stable production process to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Directing activities of production associates
• Train and develop team members as needed
• Perform SOP, Key Quality Check, Process Check Sheet, 5S and Cycle Time Audits on as needed basis. 
• Responsible for process improvements in safety, quality, scrap and productivity costs. 
• Audit production lines daily
• Assist production associates in reaching daily requirements for their process

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree
• Experience: Team Leader or Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment of no less than 1 year.
• Team Environment: demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Communication: Good written and verbal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Safety First: A strong personal commitment to industrial safety standards and protocols.
• Documentation: Capable of reading, understanding, and properly completing required plant paperwork.
