Franke’s Wood Products is hiring a Skilled Pallet & Crate Builder to help us continue our "family tradition of sincere customer care." We don't just build boxes; we build custom solutions that keep the global supply chain moving. The Role:
Building custom pallets, skids, and export crates from scratch.
Using pneumatic nail guns, saws, and measurement tools.
Ensuring every build meets our high standards for quality and integrity.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their craft.
Experience with carpentry, construction, or power tools.
Ability to lift/move lumber (up to 50 lbs) and stay active all day.

Performance-Based Compensation Your bonus is determined by your Tier Level and your Build Rate. Leadership: Act as Shop Lead; oversee workflow and quality for your team.
Growth: Responsible for training Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders. (Mentors receive an additional 5%-10% daily rate addition for training).
Technical: Engineer custom jigs from specs and build COMPLEX items.
Standard: Must maintain an 85% score or above with ZERO quality issues.
Tier 2: Specialist & Mentor
Mentorship: Actively mentor Tier 3 builders. (Mentors receive an additional 5%-10% daily rate addition for training).
Technical: Build custom jigs from specs for MODERATELY COMPLEX items.
Standard: 85% score or above with ZERO quality issues.
Tier 3: Core Builder
Execution: Build SIMPLE items using provided jigs and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Standard: Maintain an 85% score or above with zero quality defects.
The 90-Day Performance Standard All new hires undergo a 90-Day Assessment Period. We have a high standard for our team, and retention is based on the following:
Outstanding Attendance: Reliability is non-negotiable.
Professionalism: Zero disciplinary write-ups.
Growth: We must see continuous improvement in your build speed and technical accuracy.
Termination Clause: Failure to meet these standards during the first 90 days will result in immediate termination. We invest in those who invest in their work.
