Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Unitizer to join our production and warehouse team in Urbana, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing finished parts for shipment by accurately counting, stacking, and palletizing items according to specific requirements. This position requires strong physical stamina, the ability to operate a forklift safely, and the motivation to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Palletization: Count and stack finished parts on pallets according to predetermined quantities and patterns.
• Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the facility.
• Quality Control: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure counting accuracy and stable load stacking.
• Independent Operation: Manage daily tasks efficiently while working independently to meet production schedules.
• Safety Adherence: Follow all warehouse safety protocols and physical handling guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience operating a forklift is required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the day.
• Mobility: Ability to bend, stretch, reach, and stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and solid basic math skills for counting inventory.
