Production Associate (3rd Shift)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-driven Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will maintain processing specifications, operate testing equipment, and provide vital maintenance support to keep our production lines running efficiently. This position requires minimal supervision and thrives in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.
- Hiring Process: Resume submission and interview required.
- Work Shift: 3rd Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Training: Includes approximately 1 week of paid training on 1st Shift before transitioning. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Specifications: Monitor all processing metrics and operate quality testing equipment to ensure exact product standards.
- Equipment Support: Provide hands-on maintenance support for all production equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- Follow Schedules: Read and execute daily production schedules across the Pulp Plant, Processing, Packaging, and Blending areas.
- Quality & Safety Checks: Perform mandatory metal detector tests, clean magnets as required, and properly document results.
- Inventory Handling: Inspect incoming packaging, pallets, and raw materials, ensuring all items are stacked neatly.
- Inspections & Data Entry: Complete forklift inspection sheets daily and perform basic data entry at assigned computer workstations.
- Plant Support: Execute other related production duties and tasks as directly assigned by Plant Supervision. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Communication: Good written and verbal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Safety First: A strong personal commitment to industrial safety standards and protocols.
- Documentation: Capable of reading, understanding, and properly completing required plant paperwork.
