Key Responsibilities
- Secure Logistics: Schedule incoming and outgoing transportation with carriers in a cost-effective manner.
- Negotiate Rates: Engage with transportation providers to secure optimal freight pricing and service terms.
- Coordinate Shipments: Confirm incoming shipments with clients, verify destination locations, and assess facility storage capacity.
- Manage Sourcing: Place purchase orders and strategically allocate raw materials to specific facility locations.
- Streamline Communications: Serve as the primary, cross-functional liaison between the Operations and Logistics teams.
- Protect Timelines: Maintain continuous material flow to ensure production schedules strictly adhere to set deadlines.
- Core Expertise: Proven experience in production scheduling, logistics planning, and general supply chain management.
- Inventory Management: Strong ability to track, manage, and distribute raw material inventory across multiple locations.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in rate negotiation.
- Organizational Excellence: Superb organizational habits with a proven ability to hit strict timelines in fast-paced environments.
- Software Proficiency: Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
