Assistant Supervisor 2nd Shift

Custom Staffing has partnered with a local company in Lima to add the role of Assistant Supervisor, 2nd shift. This is  perfect for someone who is highly organized, detailed-orientated, and eager to grow within a stable and well-established company.

This is a 2nd shift position working 4:30pm - 3:30am. Must be available for weekends and overtime.

Job Summary

This position plays a key role in supporting the supervision and maintenance support for the 2nd shift operations. This role reports to the 2nd shift Lead Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in both people management and mechanical trouble shooting skills. A self-starter with the ability to manage a diverse group of people and have the ability to meet multiple challenges with logical solutions.  Qualification is dependent of the individual’s experience and/or education.

Responsibilities:

• Managing 2nd shift line personnel (pack lines, tank farm, forklift techs.)
• Scheduling personnel for daily production requirements.
• Coordinating Maintenance team to troubleshoot/correct issues with equipment failures. 
• Coordinating with HR for 2nd shift vacations, rewards, safety or discipline matters.
• Coordinating any quality issues with the QA team.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying the inefficiencies and implementing best practices to optimize workflow.
• Maintain detailed shift reports and incident logs to ensure transparency and accountability across all operations.
