Custom Staffing is seeking experienced and mechanically inclined Stamping Press Operator. Position is located in Sidney, Ohio.
Schedule:
• Need to have 2-3 years of metal stamping press operations
• Preferrable large multi-ton press operations
• Be responsible for quality checks before first operation and after final inspection.
• Ensure that job and set up is run according to documented procedures.
Education, Skills and Experience:
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on a non-repetitive basis.
• Minimal exposure to polish dust
• Weekly and weekend overtime required.
• Accountability for quality/productivity and safety goals
• Requires standing, walking and/or moving about for periods of time in excess of one (1) hour.
• Requires some sort of repetitive turning and/or lifting motion to be performed.
• Perform position requirements while wearing eye, ear, footwear as well as Kevlar sleeves /gloves, and Maxie cut gloves.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn including but not limited to eyes, ear, foot and/or other protective devices as required.

- Basic reading, writing, and some advanced math skills required.
- Using hand tools and machines proficiently.
- Measuring, cutting, or working on items with great accuracy.
