Industrial Maintenance Technician

Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Manufacturer to add an Industrial Maintenance Technician to their team in Prospect, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity with a company that offers compensation and benefit programs that are among the industry’s best.

Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, enjoy understanding how things work, and possess a willingness to learn new skills. This role involves hands-on work with machinery, including troubleshooting, repairing, and reassembling equipment as needed.

Pay: Starting pay will be between $52,000 - $60,000 per year and will be determined based on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm (Hours are subject to change.  Weekends and OT as needed)
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Operate machining tools as required to support production and maintenance needs
• Assist with changeovers
• Disassemble, evaluate, and reassemble machinery and components
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical inclination and a curious, problem-solving mindset
• Electrical experience (a plus)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLC programming (a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools and measure with calipers and micrometers
• Ability to work within tight tolerances
• Previous forklift operation experience
