Position:  Industrial Maintenance Technician/Welder/Fabricator
Shift: 1st Shift: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Normally will work a 10-hour day or more. (Nights & weekends are sometimes required.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
Rate of Pay:
 $18 - $30/hr based on experience


Welding & Fabrication Duties:

 
  • Perform MIG, Stick (7018 Rod), and/or TIG welding to fabricate and repair equipment, structural supports, and custom parts.
  • Cut and modify metal components using oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and grinders.
  • Ensure all welds meet safety and structural standards per job requirements.
  • Fabricate catwalks, chutes, brackets, hoppers, and other custom components used in agricultural operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe welding environment and follow all OSHA regulations.
  • Performs preventive maintenance duties including cleaning, inspecting, lubricating.
  • Performs traditional electrical power/wire hook ups and troubleshooting.
  • Perform carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electrical repairs or wiring associated with other work to construct, install, and maintain structures, fixtures, and equipment
  • Installs, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding (TIG and flux-core are a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of construction and be willing to work outdoors in a construction setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a field team.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach multiple job sites throughout Central Ohio.
  • Must have own basic welding tools in good working condition which include weld helmet, gloves, and tape measure. No exceptions.
  • Onsite interview and Weld test

Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification. (preferred)
  • Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
