Entry Level Sheet Metal Associate

Custom Staffing has partnered with a family owned company that specializes in Sheet Metal Fabrication. They are looking to add a motivated individual to join their growing organization. They are located in New Knoxville, OH. which is about a 30 minute drive from Lima. 

This is a 1st shift position with the starting pay at $17. The hours are 7:30am - 4pm.  

Description: 
You will help in the fabrication process of various duct work and other metal items. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, cut, bend and assemble sheet metal components
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings and work orders
• Able to read a tape measure and calculate basic math
• Operate shop equipment such as shears, brakes, presses, and hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications: 

• Sheet metal experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools
• Consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work Overtime
• Be a Self-starter
