Temporary Scale House Operator

Custom Staffing has partnered with a packaging facility in Wapakoneta, OH. This is a 12 hour shift,6:45pm - 7:00am with a pay rate of $15.75/hour. This position is temporary but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. 

Training will happen on 1st shift, Monday - Friday from 7am - 3pm. 

Job Description
You will be the essential communication and logistics hub for all recycling loads entering and leaving our facility. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a critical industrial logistics role within a dynamic 24/7 operation. 

Flexibility is key with this position. They are looking for someone who is open and willing to work all three shifts for future needs or possible extension.

Job Duties

• Precise Data Entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Traffic Coordination - directing the flow of inbound and outbound truck traffic, ensuring docks are loaded efficiently
• Communication - interacting professionally with drivers, and clearly communicating with the Reject Yard and Scale House Manager regarding issues
• Administrative Support - logging loads, issuing drop tickets for trailers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the scale house
