Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Manufacturer to add an experienced Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk to their team in Prospect, OH.  This is a temp to hire position with benefits after one calendar month of being hired on.  They offer a 401K with a Safe Harbor company match and are a profit share company.

Custom Staffing Benefits:   Weekly pay and benefits available.

Position: Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk
Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (Training will be 8:30am-5pm Mon-Fri)
Pay: $17.02/hr (Pay increase once hired)

The right candidate will have:         
  • Previous administrative experience is a plus
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a huge plus
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • Display and high level of professionalism with both external and internal customers
The Administrative Assistant will:
  • Answer incoming calls and either assist, take messages or redirect them to the appropriate party.
  • Monitor office emails.
  • Process voicemails, faxes, and mail.
  • Process all A/R, A/P, and invoicing.
  • Maintain Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable accounts, and Cash Handling procedures to company standards.
  • Complete all Accounting related daily, weekly, and monthly processing and reports.
  • Greet clients as they enter the office.
  • Place collection calls/emails.
  • Customer service relating to general issues.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel Will need to master additional software as well.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be an independent thinker with the ability for flexibility and creativity in identifying and solving problems.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must possess above average human relations, customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills. Extreme attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills are necessary.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Dress code is Business Casual and closed toe shoes.
