Summary:
In this key role, the Inside Sales Engineer will be the liaison between the external sales team and the internal production team. This position will work closely with our customers and our engineering and operations departments to quote and ship high quality products that exceed our customers’ expectations.

In this key role, the Inside Sales Engineer will be the liaison between the external sales team and the internal production team. This position will work closely with our customers and our engineering and operations departments to quote and ship high quality products that exceed our customers’ expectations.
Requirements:
- Overseeing and managing the responses to customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activity and potential for new products and services.
- Conferring with customers and engineers to assess customer needs and to determine part requirements.
- Developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
- Recommending powder grades or designs to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
- Previous sales and or application engineering experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- High degrees of analytical skills and independent thinking required
- Experience and/or training in problem solving
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations applicable to product application, and able to read blueprints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer skills including Office, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
