MIG Welder

Custom Staffing has partnered with a local company in Bluffton, OH to seek an experienced Welder. This is a 1st shift position and the pay starts at $16+ depending on experience.

Job Description: 
Welding structural steel material such as flat, tubing and angle pieces. You will be working with various sizes of steel pieces ranging from racking to automotive parts. 

Applicants must be able to pass a welding test consisting of the following: 

• Ability to set up welder before and during the test
• Vertical up/down welding
• Horizontal welding
• Weld wraps
• Ability to close the gap and overall weld

Skills and Requirements: 

• At least 1 year MIG experience
• Entry level MIG welder must possess basic welding knowledge
• Experienced MIG welder must possess an in depth knowledge of welding
• Ability to use fixtures
• Proficient in reading a tape measure
• Certifications a plus but not mandatory
• Observe all plant and safety guidelines
