Structural Foam Operator
Qualifications:
• Other Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of ISO 900 & 14001, Understand and apply Plant Safety Rules and Guidelines, Dependable self-starter with good attendance.
• Physical & Mental Requirements:
Must be able to pass lift test, ability to lift up to 60 pounds continuously throughout the work
Responsibilities:
• Summary:
The main functions of a Structural Foam Press Operator are to handle parts as they are ejected from the press. The employee is responsible to inspect, apply customer requirements and prepare the parts for additional assembly or shipment.
• Organizational Relationships:
1. Reports to shift supervisor
2. Interacts with all levels of hourly personnel
3. Interacts with all plant management
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
1. Read work instructions and apply to part(s)
2. Use hand tools to trim/remove excess plastic from parts
3. Assemble bulk components into finished parts
4. Perform secondary functions to pallets using appropriate machinery
5. Operate a hot stamp machine
• Machines, Tools, Instruments, Equipment and Materials Used: Hand Tools, Lift Devices, Hot Stamp Machines, Propane Torches.
