Job Title: Sanitation Technician
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Second Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM

• Weekend and overtime hours as directed by Operations Manager
  Location: Bluffton, OH

Position Summary:

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the efficient and thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all plant production areas, machinery, and equipment. This role ensures compliance with cleanliness standards and contributes to a safe, organized production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all production equipment, conveyors, and floors

• Empty trash containers throughout the facility

• Notify supervisor of equipment maintenance or repairs needed

• Participate in pre-operational inspections and duties as required

• Complete all required training (chemical handling, lockout/tagout, pallet jack use)

• Maintain strict personal hygiene and follow sanitation procedures

• Use time efficiently and maintain focus on job duties

• Uphold a positive attitude and cooperative teamwork

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and product quality

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with sanitation tools, equipment, and cleaning procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

• Understanding of chemical handling and safety protocols

• Physical strength and dexterity

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs

• Must be able to work in damp, humid environments for extended periods
