Meat Cutter / Butcher

Custom Staffing has partnered with a local Meat Shop in Delphos, OH. We are looking for an experienced (entry level skill an option) Meat Cutter / Butcher. 

This is a first shift position with you being able to work weekends. The pay will depend on experience. 

This position includes cutting meat and preparing it for the service case. You will be responsible for cutting, trimming and packaging meat according to company standards. 

Requirements

• Adhere to all federal, state, local regulations as they apply to the meat area. 
• Receive, process, cut, trim, scrape, package, tie, wrap, weigh, price and label meat and meat products according to company standards. 
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality. 
• Maintain proper sanitary conditions, to include: cleaning and sanitizing of all work surfaces, utensils and equipment. 
• Operate saws, knifes, grinders, cuber, wrappers and other equipment as needed. 
• Other duties as assigned.
