We are partnering with a local machine shop in Lakeview, OH to add a member to their growing buisiness. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills with a diverse day to day. It is a 1st shift position operating from 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday beginning at $18/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
Ability to lift 50 lbs. when needed. While performing the duties of the job, the employee must regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those found in general machine shops and what the employee will meet while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Eye and ear protection is encouraged and provided. Steel-toed shoes are not needed

- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in the CNC machinery
- Uses gages and measuring instruments as instructed to meet tolerance requirements
- Performs daily cleaning and as needed when jobs are completed
- Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
- Follows all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED needed
- Prior machine shop experience helpful but not needed
