Position: QC Inspector – Custom AHU (Air Handling Units) Assembly
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm (Hours are subject to change. Weekends and OT as needed)
Pay: $28/hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to support the assembly of highly customized Air Handling Units (AHUs) for semiconductor and mission-critical applications. Each unit is an Engineer-to-Order project with unique engineering, sequencing, interfaces, and customer requirements. The QC Inspector will verify that mechanical assembly, piping, insulation, electrical interfaces, finishes, and documentation conform to released drawings, approved submittals, work instructions, and project quality requirements before the unit advances to the next stage or is presented for FAT.


Ideal Candidate Snapshot:

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing quality professional who can read drawings, inspect complex assemblies methodically, document issues clearly, and hold the line on quality even when production is under schedule pressure. This is not a paperwork-only role and not a high-volume cosmetic inspection position.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience inspecting custom AHUs, HVAC equipment, cleanroom equipment, modular process skids, industrial machinery, or similar Engineer-to-Order products.
  • Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer inspections, or shipment-release inspections.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, inspection and test plans (ITPs), first-article verification, NCRs, CAPA, or root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, insulation, mechanical piping, electrical panel interfaces, and industrial equipment assembly.
