Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Manufacturer to add an Industrial Maintenance Technician to their team in Prospect, OH. This is a temp to hire position with benefits after one calendar month of being hired on. They offer 401K with a Safe Harbor company match and are a profit share company.
Job Description:
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical experience and a curiosity about how equipment works, and a willingness to build new skills. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, disassemble, evaluate, and reassemble machinery and equipment to help keep production running safely and efficiently.
Pay: Starting pay will be between $52,000 - $60,000 per year and will be determined based on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm (Weekends and OT as needed)

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and reassemble machinery and components as needed.
- Operate machining tools to support production and maintenance needs.
- Assist with equipment changeovers and setup adjustments.
- Identify mechanical issues and implement practical, effective solutions.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and a curious, problem-solving mindset.
- Electrical experience required.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to measure accurately with calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to work within tight tolerances.
- Previous forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLC programming is a plus.
