Scrap Yard Associate

Custom Staffing is proud to partner with a well-established local company to expand their Scrap Yard Team. We're seeking a dependable, hard-working individual who is eager to work in a hands-on, physically active environment and grow within a company that values dedication and performance.

Position Overview:
As a Scrap Yard Associate, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the scrap yard, primarily focused on sorting various types of metal. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift, bend, and stand consistently throughout the shift.

Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in the elements year-round, as the job takes place in an open scrapyard environment. Rain, heat, and cold are part of the job, and we’re looking for individuals who can handle it with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement and long-term employment for the right candidate.
Job Details:

• Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Saturday)
• Hours: M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday 8am-12pm (Weekends and overtime as needed)
• Starting Pay: $13.50/hour
