A CDL driver Class A is responsible for transporting customers safely and reliably, operating and maintaining their vehicle, and communicating with customers.
Responsibilities
- Driving: Operate a vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
- Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, minor maintenance, and scheduled maintenance
- Communication: Act as a link between customers and the company
- Record keeping: Maintain company records
Physical demands
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
- Lifting 50 lbs
- Working in extreme temperatures, heights, and loud environments
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals
Education and experience Valid Class A CDL license, High school diploma or GED equivalent, One year of experience,
Eligibility Requirement: can not have Automatic Restrictions on CDL-A.
